Crisp Fried Streak-Of-Lean - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    streak of lean bacon
    buttermilk
    flour (self-rising)
Preparation
    Freeze a

    x\t3-inch\tchunk
    of
    streak-of-lean meat. Slice thin.
    Wash and boil, covered, at least 5 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
    Dip in buttermilk and into flour (self-rising). Fry to a golden brown in a skillet with 1/2-inch oil on medium heat.
    Drain on
    paper\ttowel.\tIt's
    crisp and golden brown. Serve with
    hot biscuits, sweet corn, sliced tomatoes and iced tea.
    Makes the best meal.
