Pumpkin Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Heat oven
to
350\u00b0.
Mix
all ingredients in large bowl and mix with
electric
mixer on low to medium speed for 3 to 5 minutes.
Pour into greased and lightly floured loaf pan.
Bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until wooden toothpick comes out clean.
Note:
Bread
slices
better after totally cooled. Is great with butter.
