Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions
    1 Tbsp. oil
    4 thick pork chops (about 1 3/4 lb.)
    1/2 c. beer
    salt and pepper
    3/4 tsp. dried marjoram
Preparation
    Slice onions.
    Heat oil in frying pan over medium-high heat. Add chops and cook them until well browned, about 5 minutes per side.
    Remove chops.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Add onions to pan drippings.
    Cover and cook until the onions soften, about 10 minutes.
    Add beer, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper, marjoram and pork chops.
    Cover and cook about 1 hour until chops are tender.
    Remove chops and keep warm.
    Raise heat to high. Bring pan juices to a boil and continue boiling until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
    Spoon onions and sauce over chops and serve.
