Anadama Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast with 1/2 c. water
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Bring to a boil water and then stir in oatmeal.
    Add molasses, oil and salt.
    Add alternately yeast mixture and flour.
    Knead 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    Let rise 1 hour.
    Punch down.
    Shape loaves.
    Let rise one hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Makes two loaves.
