Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut into serving pieces
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar mushrooms, drained
    1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    To
    Cook
    by Microwave:
    Arrange chicken in 2 1/2 quart shallow, oval casserole dish with meatier portions toward edge of dish.
    Combine
    remaining ingredients;
    pour over chicken. Cover with wax paper.
    Cook at High 18 to 20 minutes or until chicken is
    done.
    Let
    stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
    Serve over spaghetti, rice or noodles.
