Ingredients

6 cold homemade biscuits (I use Bojangle's biscuits)
1 c. hot water
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 butter or margarine
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. raisins (optional)*
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation

Soak crumbled biscuits in hot water for a few minutes.
Add sugar, butter, nutmeg, raisins, beaten eggs and milk, mixing after each addition.
Pour into 1-quart baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in a preheated oven for about 30 to 40 minutes or until browned.
