Shamrock Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin
    1 2/3 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. cold water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 cucumber, pared and chopped
    1/2 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. shredded carrots
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
    Add salt, cold water and vinegar.
    Cool until gelatin is the consistency of egg whites, stirring occasionally. Add vegetables.
    Spoon into a 9-inch square pan. Chill until firm.
