Pork Chops In Gravy - cooking recipe

6-8 med. pork chops
1/2-1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water
Preparation

Rub pork chops with salt and pepper. Place in heated skillet with tightly fitting lid. Melt enough butter in pan to keep chops from sticking; brown chops quickly. Combine soup and water pour over chops. When mixture returns to boil, reduce heat to very low. Simmer slowly for 1 hour or until chops are tender. Serve with rice or potatoes.
