Pumpkin Nut Cookies(This Is A Good Cookie For Trick Or Treaters.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. pumpkin
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. raisins

Preparation

In a bowl, cream well the shortening and sugar.
Add the egg and pumpkin; mix well.
Sift into bowl the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger; mix well.
Stir in nuts and raisins.
Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
