Crisp Mexican Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 c. margarine, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. gelatin (any flavor)
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix sugar, shortening, margarine, vanilla, eggs and dry gelatin.
    Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
