Hobo Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. soda
    2 1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. Crisco oil
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil.
    Add raisins and soda; set aside and cover overnight.
    Next day sift flour, sugar and salt several times.
    Add Crisco oil to raisins.
    Then add flour mixture, (1 cup at a time) to raisin and oil mixture.
    This well be thick.
    Grease and flour three (1 pound) coffee cans.
    Fill each can only 1/2 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 70 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Remove from cans, slice and spread with cream cheese.
