Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. margarine
3/4 c. flaked or shredded coconut
Preparation

Add sugar and salt to flour and stir.
Add milk gradually, stirring until smooth.
Cook over heat until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add small amount of cooked mixture to egg yolks, then stir eggs into cooked mixture. Return to heat; bring to boil.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla, margarine and 3/4 cup coconut.
