Mrs. Butterworth'S Football Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. assorted bite-sized cereal squares
    1 c. peanuts
    1/2 c. Mrs. Butterworth's syrup
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    In a large, shallow roasting pan, combine cereal and peanuts.
    In 2-quart saucepan, combine syrup, margarine, sugar and cinnamon.
    Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Without stirring, boil 2 minutes.
    Pour over cereal mixture; toss to coat well.
    Bake 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Turn out onto waxed paper lined tray.
    Break apart cereal as it cools.
    Store in tightly covered container.
    Makes 5 cups.
