Chocolate Valentine'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cocoa powder
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tub fudge frosting
    1 tub pastel color frosting
    2 eggs, medium
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 2 heart shaped pans, line bottom with waxed paper and dust with flour.
    Stir together boiling water and cocoa until smooth, set aside.
    Cream shortening and sugar in large bowl, blend in eggs, vanilla and salt.
    Stir baking soda into the buttermilk.
    Add cocoa/water mixture.
    Combine with other ingredients and blend thoroughly.
    Pour into prepared pans. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans and cool completely.
    Frost with fudge frosting and pipe edges with pastel frosting.
