Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. quick oats
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. peanut butter (optional)
Preparation

In large saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients.
Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat.
Stir constantly.
Boil for 5 minutes while stirring.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Add peanut butter, if desired.
Add oats.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto lightly buttered foil.
Cool completely.
