Ingredients

2 qt. milk
1 c. sugar
cinnamon
raisins
1 c. rice (uncooked)
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine all together in a 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
Raisins and cinnamon are optional and amounts to use are flexible.
I use 1/2 to 3/4 cup raisins and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Cover dish for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 1/2 hour, then remove lid and finish baking total baking time is approximately 2 1/4 hours (depending on your oven.)
