Cheese Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine or butter
    2 c. flour
    8 oz. grated Cheddar or Italian cheese
Preparation
    Mix. Chill dough.
    Roll to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Cut into rectangles 1 x 2-inches with a knife dipped in flour.
    Brush with beaten egg and top with caraway seed, poppy seed or almond sliver. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Serve with drinks as an hors d'oeuvre or as a savory for dessert.
