Apricot Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large can apricots
1 large can pineapple
2 (3 oz.) boxes orange jello
2 c. fruit juices
2 c. hot water
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 beaten egg
2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1 c. whipping cream
nuts
grated cheese
Preparation

Drain and cut fruits, saving the juices.
Dissolve jello in hot water; add 1 cup juices.
When slightly thickened, add fruits. Cook the sugar, flour, egg and 1 cup juices until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; add butter. Cool.
Whip cream and fold into cooked mixture; spread the mixture over salad and top with nuts and/or grated cheese.
