Pineapple Cream Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 pkg. Knox gelatine
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatine in one cup cold water.
    Set aside.
    Mix pineapple, sugar and lemon juice in a medium saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add the gelatine and let cool.
    Whip the whipping cream together with the cream cheese and add to the cooled pineapple mixture.
    Pour into a 9 x 12-inch pan and chill until firm.
