Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
1 chicken, cut up in serving pieces
2 Tbsp. oil
1 c. raw rice
2 Tbsp. paprika
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Saute onion until clear.
Shut off heat and add paprika and chicken pieces.
Cover with cold water.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer until chicken pieces are tender, always making sure chicken is covered with water.
Add 1 cup uncooked rice.
Cover and cook until all liquid is absorbed by rice.
Stir once.
Lower heat when cooking chicken.
Serve at once.
Makes enough for 4 people.
