Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cranberries, cut in half
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts (chopped)
2 Tbsp. liquid shortening
3/4 c. (less 2 Tbsp.) hot water
1 egg (beaten)
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 large orange (rind plus 2/3 c. juice)
Preparation

Grate orange rind, then squeeze juice.
Put shortening, juice, water and rind in bowl and mix.
Add rest of ingredients.
Bake in well-greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
