Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 to 2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients together.
    Mix oil, eggs and pineapple; beat in dry ingredients.
    Add vanilla, carrots and pecans.
    Pour mixture into a tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    May ice it or serve with powdered sugar on it.
