Rice Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 qt. milk, scalded
    1 c. white sugar
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. marshmallows
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar.
    Let milk cool slightly, then pour egg mixture into milk.
    Add rice and flavoring.
    Pour into well buttered casserole (2-quart).
    Set it in a pan of hot water and bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows over top and bake 15 minutes longer.
