Divine Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    dash of salt
    1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water
    and
    salt
    in a 2-quart measuring cup or bowl.
    Microwave on
    High
    6 to 8 minutes or until hard ball stage (250\u00b0)
    is reached.
    Beat marshmallow cream in bowl with mixer and slowly
    add
    hot
    syrup
    mixture.\tBeat
    until thickened,\tbut still
    glossy.
    Stir
    in
    vanilla and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
    Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
