Hearty Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 1/2 oz. can chicken broth
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. frozen mixed vegetables for soup
    16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
    2 oz. (about 1 1/4 c.) noodles (uncooked)
    1 c. cooked, diced beef
    1 tsp. thyme
    dash of pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Heat broth and water.
    Add vegetables, meat and seasonings. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
    Add noodles.
    Cook until noodles are tender, about 10 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf.
