Cookie Snack Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    1/4 c. coconut
    3 c. Special K and nuts
    1 c. chocolate bits
Preparation
    Melt sugar and syrup together.
    Add peanut butter and mix well over low heat.
    Remove from stove and add nuts, coconut and Special K.
    Spread in buttered pan, 8 x 8-inch.
    Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler and then spread on other mixture in pan. Do not refrigerate.
    Cut in squares after it cools.
