Corn Saute - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. diced green pepper
3 Tbsp. butter
4 1/2 to 5 c. fresh corn, cut from cob
1/2 c. light cream
1/2 tsp. thyme
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Saute 1 1/2 cups finely chopped onion and 1 cup diced green pepper in 3 tablespoons butter for just a few minutes.
Add 4 1/2 to 5 cups fresh corn cut from the cob and 1/2 cup light cream. Season with 1/2 teaspoon thyme and salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook until corn is tender.
Makes 8 servings.
