Country Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 2/3 c. cornmeal
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. half and half
3/4 c. Shedd's Spread Country Crock
Preparation

Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl, mixing well.
Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Add to dry mixture and stir with wooden spoon until just moistened.
Pour into well-greased 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Edges should be golden brown.
Cool on wire rack.
Cut into 16 squares.
Serve warm or cool.
