Pumpkin-Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. milk
    1 c. cooked or canned pumpkin
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. whole pecans
    baked pie shell
    3 egg whites
    9 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix
    brown
    sugar,
    flour,
    spices
    and salt.
    Beat egg yolks; add
    milk\tand stir into first mixture.
    Cook over hot water until
    thick, stirring constantly.\tAdd pumpkin, butter or margarine
    and 3/4 cup pecans.
    Mix well.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Cover with meringue made of egg whites and sugar. Garnish with
    remaining pecans.
    Bake in moderate oven (325\u00b0) for 20 minutes.
    Serve cold.
