Ingredients

1 lb. oleo
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dates, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream oleo and sugar.
Add egg.
Stir in dates, nuts and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoonfuls into coconut and shape into logs. Bake until light brown, approximately 10 minutes, at 350\u00b0.
