Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 Tbsp. soda
1 Tbsp. baking cocoa
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
2 c. sugar
3 c. applesauce
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins
Frosting
Preparation

Combine flour, soda, baking cocoa, cinnamon, cloves and allspice in large bowl; mix well.
Mix sugar with applesauce in bowl; mix well.
Add to flour mixture; mix well.
Stir in butter, pecans and raisins.
Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until layers test done.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
Spread frosting between layers and over top and side of cake.

12 servings.
