Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 can applesauce
2 c. flour
white and dark raisins
2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 lb. candied fruit
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. flour
Preparation

In pan, mix fruit, nuts and raisins with 1/2 cup flour and set aside.
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs.
Stir until blended.
Add applesauce to which the baking soda has been added.
Stir in flour and spices.
Mix well.
Add floured fruit and nut mixture.
Mix.
Pour into greased and floured wax paper lined pans.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until done.
