Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/4 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
    2 eggs
    3 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
    1 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix the flour with baking soda.
    Combine butter or margarine, sugars and pudding mix in a large mixing bowl.
    Beat until smooth and creamy.
    Beat in eggs.
    Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in oats and raisins.
    (Batter will be stiff.)
    Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen.
