Cookie Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

4 c. sliced, peeled apples
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
20 oz. roll Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Combine apples, brown sugar, flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and lemon juice. Toss and coat apples well. Spoon into ungreased 8-inch square pan.
Using 1/2 of the cookie dough, drop by teaspoon evenly over the apples.
In a small bowl, combine sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
Sprinkle evenly over cookie dough.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes until top is golden brown and apples are tender.
