Meat Loaf No. 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef (no chuck or round)
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 c. crushed dry cracker crumbs (about 12)
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley (optional)
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, adding 1/2 can of the mushroom soup. Mix thoroughly.
    Shape into loaf.
    Place in aluminum loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until brown as you like. Blend remaining mushroom soup with 3 tablespoons drippings and 1/4 cup of water.
    Stir.
    Serve this sauce as hot gravy on meat loaf slices.
