Rice Krispie-Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
    4 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation
    Mix the sugar and syrup together in 3-quart pan.
    Heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil, then let cook 1 minute without stirring.
    Remove from heat.
    Mix in peanut butter. Pour into a large pot in which Rice Krispies have already been put.
    Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper.
    When finished, lift each piece of candy so it doesn't stick to paper.
    Let cool, then put in airtight container with waxed paper between layers.
