1 1/2 c. water
1 c. white sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. pitted dates
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine brown sugar and water; cook to form a thin syrup. Boil 3 to 5 minutes.
