Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh green beans
    1 slice bacon
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut and string about a quart of green beans in 1-inch pieces. Wash 4 times and put into iron pot.
    Cut slice of bacon into 1/2-inch pieces.
    Put into pot and add water until you can see it. Add salt and cook until tender.
    When tender, remove lid and cook out excess water.
    Cook on medium while you work around the house.
