Fruitcake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    4 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    2 oz. brandy or milk
    3 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. milk
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. white raisins
    1 lb. chopped dates
    6 c. chopped pecans
    3 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream
    butter
    and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Dissolve soda with milk.\tAdd
    flour
    (reserve 1 cup flour), spices and milk (plus milk\tor
    brandy)
    alternately.
    Dredge
    fruit with reserved flour.
    Add fruit and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonful onto baking sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 300\u00b0.
