Ingredients

4 egg yolks
2 c. brown sugar
pinch of salt
8 Tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
8 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Put in top of double boiler and cook over boiling water until thick.
Cover with lid and cook 15 minutes.
Top with meringue and brown.
This makes 2 pies.
