Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or less
    thin egg noodles
    1 can chicken broth
    Carolina long grain cooking rice
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Fill bottom of saucepan with egg noodles, one layer crumbled by hand to cover bottom.
    Add chicken broth and enough water for 2 cups liquid.
    Add salt and pepper. Bring to boil and add one cup of rice.
    Stir and then cover.
    Turn to simmer until water is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
