Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. shortening or lard
1 cake yeast with 1/2 c. warm water
1 3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Add shortening.
Work in yeast with hands.
Add buttermilk.
Makes a soft dough.
Keeps up to a week in refrigerator.
