Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 apples
    1 can of 10 biscuits
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Peel and quarter fruit.
    Cut biscuits in half and roll or press out each biscuit half. Wrap quartered pieces of fruit with biscuit dough and place in baking dish.
    Melt butter and pour over dumplings.\tSprinkle with cinnamon.
    Combine hot water and sugar together until dissolved. Pour over dumplings and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Makes 20 dumplings.
    (Peaches may be substituted for apples.)
