Fried Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    4 c. sliced okra
    2 c. self-rising flour
    buttermilk
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Put sliced okra in large bowl. Add salt and pepper. Pour enough buttermilk to cover okra. Mix well. Put in the refrigerator about 30 minutes. Then drain buttermilk off okra. Roll in flour and drop in hot oil until brown.
