Layered Guacamole Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 ripe avocados
    2 pt. sour cream
    1 lb. grated Monterey Jack cheese
    4 to 5 green onions, chopped
    1 lemon
    1 c. picante sauce
Preparation
    Mash avocados with juice of lemon.
    In a 9 x 13-inch glass dish, layer mashed avocados, grated cheese, sour cream, picante sauce and chopped green onion.
    Let set in refrigerator 2 to 3 hours.
    Serve with tostadas (nacho chips).
    Serves 8.
