Strawberry Glaze Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Pet-Ritz pie crust or graham cracker crust
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    few drops red food coloring
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and clear, sugar, water, cornstarch and red food coloring.
    Cool.
    Stir in berries, saving 1/4 cup for garnish.
    Pour into baked pie crust and chill until firm, about 3 hours.
    Top with Cool Whip.
    Serves 6.
