Vidalia Sweet Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch pie shell (unbaked)
    3 c. sliced Vidalia onions
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until tender.
    Arrange on unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
    Beat eggs slightly and add evaporated milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour mixture over onions.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
