Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium Vidalia onions, chopped coarsely
    1 stick butter
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 tube Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until clear and tender (about 10 minutes).
    In a casserole dish, layer half of the onions and butter mixture, one half crackers and half of the cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
