Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 big jar baby prunes
1 c. fresh, black walnuts
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift the flour with soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and allspice; sift into vanilla, eggs, sugar, oil, buttermilk and prunes.
Mix and add nuts.
Bake in an iron skillet at 275\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
This is especially good on a fall evening served warm.
