Ingredients

2 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. margarine, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (4-serving size) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 eggs
1 (6 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

In a medium mixing bowl combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine margarine, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and dry pudding mix.
Beat until smooth and creamy.
Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture until well blended.
Stir in chocolate chips.
(Batter will be stiff.)
Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 7 dozen cookies.
